Congratulations! A PHS student has received a Gold Key award for the Scholastic Art Awards! Over 4,000 works were submitted this year and it was extremely competitive. The winning student-artist will be honored at The Montclair Art Museum next month. Great job!
Photo Design students had amazing critiques of their photos this week. They looked at their classmates images and T.A.G.ged them: TOLD something they liked about the work, ASKED a question, and GAVE a suggestion. Students had so many positive critiques of the work. They asked meaningful and thought provoking questions. Suggestions they had related to point of view, composition, and technical aspects of the assignment. Great job!
New student artwork is on display at the Administration Building. Go check it out and see what INSPIRES some young artists in Piscataway. What inspires you?
Congratulations! A PHS student has been selected for the Art Educators of New Jersey Late Winter Exhibit at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. The artwork is part of a 30 piece exhibit in the Victoria Theater Lobby displaying K-12 artwork from around the state. Great work!
