Drexel Photography 2015 High School Contest
The Drexel Photography 2015 High School Contest is now open for submissions! For more information about how to submit your images to the contest or to learn about the Drexel Photography degree programs visit the website: drexelphotography.com. This year’s contest theme:Create your own theme park attraction or museum exhibit!Submit your ideas for a theme park attraction or museum exhibition based on a movie, book, or song – or anything else you dream up!
You can tell your story in one of two ways:
Entry Deadline: November 24, 2015 Voting for My Choice Award: November 25 – December 2, 2015 Open to U.S. Students in Grades 9-12 http://ringlingcreativeawards.info/heres-how/ Through the Scholastic Awards, teens in grades 7 through 12 from public, private, or home schools can apply in 29 categories of art and writing for their chance to earn scholarships and have their works exhibited and published. Beyond the Awards, the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers produces a number of programs to support creative students and their educators, including the Art.Write.Now.Tour, the National Student Poets Program, the Scholastic Awards Summer Series, the Alliance Summer Arts Program, the Golden Educators Residency, and much more.

The theme of the contest is Under the Same Sun. It is based on the book of the same title written by Sharon Robinson, daughter of baseball great Jackie Robinson.
